Costa Rica

It calls - the mists of rain, the lush, the bodacious, flamboyant colors of nature, food fresh from untainted grounds, calls of birds in the rainforest, the beach with attentive young men who bring drinks with hibiscus flowers gracing the glass and who move the umbrella to keep the worst of the sun at bay. Sand, the sound of the Pacific, mangos plucked from the ground where they fall from trees to be taken home, sliced and eaten with lime and salt.

Oh, sigh.......................

Oh would love to go to art show in Seattle!!! Specially by the bay. Sniffle. Wished I was there too.

Oh, ventilation a big problem, over 100 degrees there - I turn on air conditioner, wake up sweating on couch, air conditioner be shut off, I turn back on, wake up and it be shut off again. I give up and lay there with eyes open and cold wash rag on forehead. Next morning I be informed dogs were getting cold. ?????? Next time, maybe a motel?

Ki-0-tees get sniff o 4 dog night and they's run from me like the wind, do.

Costa Rica sounds wonderful!! I want to go. :-) Instead, this weekend I was blessed with going to Gulf Breeze after church on Sunday for a walk along the beach. Sassydog went with us and it was fun to watch her experience her first time in the sand, running and playing on the beach as if it were her destiny in life to do so, for the first time in her life. Maybe someday I will be blessed with going to Costa Rica... I admire the fact you have been able to do such things.

Okay, I was just gonna turn down the Costa Rica invite, cause it will be at least $1300 for airfare, plus miss three days of work (75% of a week for me), which is a lot of lost income. Dot is pushing me to go. . . it is just so much money. . . help. . .
