Beach Mardi Gras
Despite cold and windy weather, a low key party took place down on the "Key." Folks are looking up to the Jelly Fish Bar where most of the beads, moon pies, and cups are being tossed to the crowd below. The band was very, very good and we had tons of fun despite the chilly air. It was a cool, laid back crowd.
My beads are hanging on the dresser, giving the bedroom a bit of an exotic, old time movie flair - well at least I like to think so. Grandson is taking his beads apart and thinking of a million crafts projects.
Now, if we can navigate March, it will soon be beach going time - swimming, fishing, and tanning. That's the life. Pura Vida.

I'm living in the wrong place in the wrong country.
How fun was that?!?!?!? I had so much fun in New Orleans during Jazz Fest..I have no desire to go to the Mardi Gras there, as from what I hear the whole thing has majorly gone down hill the past 20 years or so, as in,it's pretty dangerous now. I am not good with crowds anyway . I will take you some rain pictures Ms. D, it's been pretty steady the last 2 weeks and no let up in sight! I will be so happy to move to the desert if it ever happens) then everyone can come and we will have a b.a.p.( big assed party)
Looks sooo fun!!
Beach weather in March. Sheesh. I won't be gettin' any of that here. If we're lucky, there might be some beach weather for five minutes in mid-July...
I am just thinking of the snow melting - not actually thinking of beach weather. That is a million years off, I think.
It looks like you had loads of fun.
What absolute fun!!
