The New Year 2010

Well, its New Year's Day! We are still in the monsoon season! Last night we (grandson & I watched Alien Vs. Predator - well, actually I fell asleep about 10 minutes after it started). Then today we went to AVATAR. What a beautiful movie - absolutely beautiful. I wish I could fall asleep and dream I was in that forest. And, of course, extremely tall blue people, long, graceful and cat like including a fierce ability to hiss - I LOVE it! It was lush and beautiful. A little bit of everything for everyone - a love story, a science fiction, a statement for protection of earth and a way of life, redemption -

Took oldest grandson for his 19th birthday to Olive Garden - it was also a nice family time.

Continue to learn new cameras features. Addicted to Farm Town. Being much more restrained with Face Book as some people are becoming far too concerned with what I'm doing.

Looking forward to the year. (I think!)

I had a sad moment today - realized my beautiful 2,500 foot home in Wyoming would be paid off this year! :( That would have been a wonderful thing! But the past is gone - we have today - and the future is open to us.

Happy New Year, Gardenia!

I really want to see Avatar, too. I've heard it's a feast for the eyes.

OOOOH did you see avatar in 2d or 3d? I really want to see it in 3-d but maybe I'll wait til it's on bluray as the tv we have can do 3d. Thanks for the compliment on my disjointed thoughts, there is more to follow whenever I get around to it, I have been sooo lazy lately, I really think humans used to hibornate in the wintertime.I love farmtown, I just have to get back into it.
Have a wonderous New Year!

Do you REALLY want to clean and maintain a 2,500 ft home at this point in life? Does that make you fell better? ;p

I really want to see Avatar, but L won't go to the movies anymore as they aren't captioned. *sigh* I guess I'll wait for the video to come out...

I have been dreaming of "Pandora" the planet from Avatar. It's very weird. I thought of you when I saw the movie. I can't wait to see it again.

tshsmom, p.s. much of Avatar is captioned. Also...it's really worth seeing in the theatres. (But then I am saying this without knowing the full extent of your hearing usage.)

The reason I like some films in the movie theaters is because the vastness of the screen and sound make the movie so much better. The 3d was super - so much improvement from years ago. I'm sure though, my daughter's new TV will show it spectacularly as well. I will see it again too, Candy - maybe next week - sneak away. I want to fly over Pandora! But not on those big birds!
