Is that your own work, Gardenia? Cool!

And here are your interview questions!

If you could pass just one pearl of wisdom to your grandchildren, what would it be?

Could Florida really have made a difference in the presidential election in 2000?

If you could travel through time -- both past and present -- where would you go and why?

When did your love affair with Costa Rica start?

When did you last do something that you knew would be scary, but you went ahead and did it anyway (and feel proud of it now)?

Thanks folks - yeh, its my work - I love the technique - I start by doing an underpainting in pastel chalks and water......then I create another over it with oil pastels and a medium to muck it around. Sometimes I might paint 3 pictures to get a rich background. I like the depressed/bright color combination - it sort of creates an interesting contrast within the head of the observer - she's worn all right - but that healing sunshine is shinin' on her....

I read your Krispy Kreme's post...and Asterisk's and I added that I too went through a Krispy Krmee's phase.

I hardly ever eat them now...but had heard about them a few years ago...sheesh in 2000 I was spending a summer in NYC. I borrowed my friends bike and rode from east side to Penn Station toa bank and to buy a train ticket. When I got there, i saw a Krispy kremem...which at the time, we didn't have in Canada. I had heard about these donuts on Rosie O Donnel...oh so I got one. So good sitting outside Penn Station eating it witha good coffee. Went back in a nd bought a whole box.

Candy, its a long story. The reason I went back to school, besides always wanting to attend art school, was to learn multimedia and make a fabulous art for sale website, which I haven't done yet. I tried selling some ceramics on ebay, but it was like they were at the bottom of the pile. Now, after doing web design, I realize you have to PROMOTE the website, same as ebay (or pay a lot of money to come in at the top of the listings.) So - one of these days, I will market. Oh so much to do and so little time.
