When did you do this fabulous portrait? I am so sorry. What a horrific loss that I have no idea the avalanche of grief that must hit you.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
(Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!
Mary Frye (1932)
I would like to think he is the love in your brush strokes.
Peace to you dearest Sisty.

Wow... What a great portrait of him. Those are the same wonderful eyes I remember when he was a little boy. He has a sweetness about him.
