I need to get photos up of my god-children. They were Queen Esther and Joseph with the coat of many colors! So cute. We went on the candy hunt in East Hill. Lots of fun!

Oh, your trick-or-treaters look so cute, it might almost change my mind about opening the door next year. Did the cats get spooked by all the nocturnal activities?

The cats would not go in - despite the screams and sounds of a chain saw coming from the haunted garage down the street. They stuck around on the porch with me handing out candy and greeting people. Later in the night, Ms. Meowie went in, she was exhausted but Psycho would not come in - we heard cat screaming and got up out of bed and went searching with our huge hurricane flashlight - flashing through neighbors' yards - found him in the driveway across the street trying to fight a neighbor cat. We went through four huge sacks of candy - lots of kids - but all really nice kids.

Oh such gorgeous cats!
Is the beautiful Rockabilly gal your daughter you told me about?

I am glad you had nice kids to deal with. Mine were nice too, despite the area where I live (it is notoriously rough)

Great fun! I'm fascinated by your daughter's tattoos now... Is that some sort of animal sitting on a bone that she has on her back?

LOL. The kitty at the bottom looks like he has had a LONG night!
Did you get a lot of kids at your place? great photos, it looks liek everyone has loads of fun - and candy.

Ms. Meowie had a great time, but like us old ladies do, just fell over in the end of the excitement. Looks like she might have had too much candy too. (Just joking.)

We had tons of kids!

*, will see if I can get daughter to pose and then post up her tattoos. She has vulture I think somewhere - then a night nurse on lower back, and a geisha up her side - a ship somewhere in memory of her brother, and one on the back of each calve (calf?) for Mom and Dad.

Yep, she's my youngest! She has the youngest grandchild -

Puppy, Cats are funny - they will take up with people that they know have an affinity for them and will take care of them with nice food morsels and petting. You are probably this cat's favorite stop on his route.

Wow
the headless horseman was Superb!!
I used to have hundreds of kids at my house...this year I only had two bunches and a glass of wine. Glad I didn't have too many. (kids or glasses of wine) I wasn't in the right mood I guess

Maybe haunting memories of freezing to death in Wyoming, and we were always bundled up like the little kid in Christmas Story and nobody could see your costume anyway.

I am ready for Turkey Day, cranberry salit and good old kerkey grabey.
I am ready for summer

Oh, its a long haul until summer, Vicki! Yes, I remember going out to trick or treat looking like we were North Koreans (wrapped in coats, gloves, scarves, etc.). Was nice to move to a climate where one could just go out in the costume!

I too am looking forward to turkey day - I think.
